Micah Pollak, IUM


Dr. Micah Pollak is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Business and Economics at Indiana University Northwest. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois and joined the faculty in 2012. His research areas include the scholarship of teaching, financial economics and regional economics and he teaches in the areas of Microeconomics and Economic History. He has published papers on the economy of Northwest Indiana and is responsible for several data series that track the regional economy, including the Northwest Indiana Economic Index, which is one of the few regional economic indices in the United States.
